Sunflower Oil Processing Technology


The processing technology of sunflower oil is generally divided into oil pressing method and oil extraction method (oil refining method).

Sunflower seeds pretreatment and pressing process: sunflower seeds→cleaning and removing impurities→crushing and peeling→separation of kernels and shells→rolling→steaming and frying→pre-pressing→filtering→pre-pressing crude oil

The oil pressing method is also called "physical oil pressing method", which is to squeeze out the oil in sunflower seeds with external force. It is not suitable for other chemical solvents, etc., so as to avoid the residue of organic solvents in the oil. The sunflower oil pressing process retains the reasonable ingredients in sunflower seeds-polyunsaturated fatty acids, protein, dietary fiber, vitamins, trace elements and other nutrients that are beneficial to the human body. Sunflower seed oil extraction process: pre-pressed cake → oil extraction → mixed oil evaporation, oil stripping → extracted crude oil

The oil extraction method is an oil-making process in which solvent oil is used to soak the oil and fat raw materials, and then the oil is extracted at a high temperature to extract the oil.
